“What are you going to do with your life?”

“What are you going to do with your life?” In one way or another it seemed that people had been asking her this forever; teachers, her parents, friends at three in the morning, but the question had never seemed this pressing and still she was no nearer an answer. The future rose up ahead of her, a succession of empty days, each more daunting and unknowable than the one before her. How would she ever fill them all?… ‘Live each day as if it’s your last’, that was the conventional advice, but really, who had the energy for that? What if it rained or you felt a bit glandy? It just wasn’t practical. Better by far to be good and courageous and bold and to make difference. Not change the world exactly, but the bit around you. Go out there with passion and your electric typewriter and work hard at…something. Change lives through art maybe. Cherish your friends, stay true to your principles, live passionately and fully and well. Experience new things. Love and be loved, if you ever get the chance.”

David Nicholls (One Day)

While in Denver Tim inspired the Jets to pick up his ways and write out our bucket lists.  Amazing how writing down the things you want to do keeps you accountable, and then putting them on the internet makes it real!  Here’s my bucket list, and a little insight into me.  What do you want to accomplish, or accomplish with me?

Bucket List:

53.  Have a bangin’ enough body to win a fitness competition

54.  Be a brand.

55.  Help as many people as I can along the way.

56.  Figure out where the little restaraunt in the Black Forest was (I ate there one time) and go back.

Sarah Lasker - I looove the idea of bucket lists. I have a small lifelong one going. But, it always completely overwhelms me. Not in the massiveness of it, but writing it all down makes me want to do it all NOW and I get very impatient.

I make a bucket list each year on my birthday of things I want to do that year, …some big and some small, …and it works better for me because I can actually cross them off within a small time-frame. ha :)

You have some great ones though. Makes me want to let go of my control freak side and just do it. :)

Ashley Goodwin - Oh yeah Sarah, don’t think I haven’t seen yours! Yours is awesome, and you know, I should probably do the same thing, but keep the giant bucket list because some things just spring up and you didn’t know you would have the opportunity to do them that year. But a birthday list seems do-able. :) Hopefully our bucket lists will cross paths!!!!

ELisa Guarda - Loved the list; I have always kept a mental list of all I wanted to do but writing it down seems a much better way. I hope you complete each one of your wishes on your list.
